Delightful Days with Daddy Dan

We have been soaking up every possible moment with Dan this weekend!! He finished his mammoth paper on John Hus (you'll have to ask him about it!) and all of this round of tests are complete. And to top it all off. . .he had this weekend off!! So starting Friday at about 6:30 we only had eyes for Daddy! It was such a wonderful weekend!! We ate at Rosa's on Friday with Hannah Mize and her kiddos, YUMMY! Then Saturday we let Daddy sleep in a bit and we headed of to a friends 1st Birthday party! After naps we went to the Fort Worth Museum and saw the IMAX Ride Around the World. It's the history of cowboys. FUN! Then we checked out the new Notion of Motion Exhibit and headed to Chick-A-lay for dinner!! Then we came home and managed to get into bed at 9:00 for two nights in row! SLeep! GLorious SLeep!! Then church was sure fun with Dan today. Last week he had to stay home and work feverishly on his paper. You know it's crunch time if Dan is skipping church! And I won a gift card to Boston Market at MOPS on Friday so we ate there for lunch! WHEW! that was a lot of eating out but it sure makes Mommy happy when my time with Dan isn't all consumed with meal prep!!

WoW!! You would think we have had enough excitment but we just about to head out the door and make our way to the Gerlthouse for some much awaited and much needed fellowship!! The girls have been asking ALL day "Is it time to go to Anna Takes house?" Elise still inverts her t's and k's. Pretty cute, huh? I would love to go on and on about how great our weekend has been but you are just going to have to settle for this quick recap because it's time to go!! More Fun!! Get ready GerltHouse!!
